Are you open to the public?
Yes, absolutely. Please call us at 250.215.3711 if you would like to visit our Lake Country office or our rock quarry just south of the Kelowna City limits in the Upper Mission.
Are your products natural or man-made?
All of our products are natural stone and come from a natural rock quarry.
What is stacking stone?
STAKING STONE is generally defined as highly graded stone that can be 'dry-stacked' (mortarless) to create structural retaining walls or landscape features.
Do you have stone samples?
Yes. We encourage you to take as many samples as you need. Please feel free to call our office to request stone sample(s).
How is stone sold?
Most of our products, specifically flagstone, ledgestone and retaining wall stone, are sold by weight, either by metric tonne or ton. We offer stone slabs/steps that are sold by square feet size and natural stone thin veneer is sold by the square foot and corners by linear foot.
How much rock does a pallet or truck carry?
For delivery of retaining wall stone, a tandem truck carries approx. 13 Metric Tonne, a truck and pup carries approx. 26 Metric Tonne and a Tridem-Axle + Quad Axle End-up Trailer carries approx. 40 Metric Tonne.
How much do I have to buy?
Retaining wall stone can be purchased in any amount that you like (full load, half-load, etc).
Can we pick the rocks we want?
Retaining wall stone can be personally selected at the quarry only if you arrive and load your own truck, if arranged through our office. If a machine at the quarry is required to assist in sorting or loading, a $140/hour machine rate will be applicable. Even though the beauty of natural stone is that of natural variance, we take special care to make sure that you are fully aware of what you are ordering.
